Admissions policy of the Master’s Program in Education
The entrance examination is conducted by the Master’s Program in Education Entrance Examination Council for each Master’s program or course, and an original candidates list will be created. Then, the admission screening of candidates is performed by the Master’s Program in Education Steering Committee. Admissions are made through the following three types of entrance examinations:
- General entrance examination: Applicants who have graduated from a university. Screening based on the results of written examinations and an oral examination (Research plan depending on the Department).
- Special screening for working individuals: Applicants who have working experience. Screening based on the results of written examinations, an oral examination and a review of documents.
- One-year program for incumbent teachers: Applicants who are incumbent teachers with the aim of obtaining a master’s degree in one year. Screening based on the results of written examinations, an oral examination and a review of documents.
The entrance examination is conducted in October every year. A second admission process may be conducted in February. For detailed information about entrance examinations, please refer to the admission information of each program or course because the admissions may differ each academic year.
